Spring RTS Engine

There needs to be an option to turn off battle room chat mirroring while in-game. This should preferably be a !vote option, but client-side filtering would nice too (done via lua probably).

I am not bothered much by little beeps from the battleroom chat. But on a related note what i do hate is popups from the springlobby, Ubuntu still seems to insist on popups, well, popping up -_-. Can those be optionally turned off(when in-game, atleast), or some other method, like a tab for the messages? (I'll look into springlobby's bugtracker) (Edit: http://trac.springlobby.info/ticket/663)

Popups in general, combined with spring is very annoying, it steals focus, then takes a lot of time, spring goes into windowed mode, then takes some time to go into full screen mode again, but the resolution changed. (To my desktop, 1600x1200, too much for heavy games on my mother computer.)

springlobby has popups?

You might call them messages, but they are little windows that steal focus. I'd call those popups. (It doesnt happen that often tho')

I think you're referring to the notification sounds.

Im refering to "relay chat" settings.

You can disable battleroom chat display.
