That's the axiom... We actually need something to pull people who wouldn't normally be on on. We can't just call it "event day" and expect more people to show up for same old same old.

PS Next time use a more descriptive name.

I am not sure if that is a good idea. At the very least it needs to be done at a time that spring is stable. They call it 'release early release often' but really, they are testing for bugs with the entire community. Which is Hopefully they'll make the lobby for multiple engine(versions) and do more testing with a bunch of people willing to do so.

I think smaller games should be encouraged, not larger ones. There is more 'pressure' when you play them, though. You are less insolated from the effects of your decisions. But that does make them more fun too. And they are less anonymous. But i also guess we could make a 1v1- or comshare- day, but what to use to encourage people to actually play those more on that day? (If you want to spec, they do seem to hold tourneys.)

There was also a(or more?) project to make a 'universe' where battles decides what places(planets/land) different groups have of a universe. I suppose that that universe would change slowly when in normal mode, in order to not make it too dependent on who happens to be there/away. Perhaps an event could be when they make a server with such a universe with different rules in order to make the dynamics a lot faster.

Well, regardless of what we do it about... we should at least wait until the "View new posts" listing isn't chock full of complaints and bugs... it will probably happen anyways when the Imperial Winter people finish their public release.
