6 letters the on difference is war or rts and the placement, people are going to mix it up a lot. It happens and it was definitely not on purpose, people just do that. Change the name of evo rts to something more distinct or just wait for people to forget about war evo. One of the two, people otherwise will frequently make the mistake and yelling at them for it isn't going to help matters.

hell dude, now the trolls know that all they need to do is call "evo rts" "war evo" and you will flip cookies. You just gave people a silver bullet to piss you off with.

Stop calling Evolution "Evo" and you'll probably do alright. War Evolution was generally called "War Evo" and so the abbreviation is associated with that in my head.

Should've thought about that BEFORE naming your mod Evolution RTS. People drop the RTS suffix and then others assume there's a "War" missing.

A good rule of thumb is to name it something ending in "annihilation" in order to avoid confusion with other IP-free mods.

@KDR: War evo had been dead for at least a year and was using copyrighted content anyway. All of a sudden recently Revenge decided that War Evo needed a comeback.

Because I constantly use the term Evo. In all reality, it's mostly my own fault. I made this thread because I wanted to just make people aware of the fact and maybe get a chuckle in the process
