Spring RTS Engine

I recently downloaded Spring and I need some help:

1: Is it possible to save in Spring? If so, how do I do it?

2:what do all the different scrips do?

3:what mod do you think would be good for a beginner?

1 : If you mean, save a game, no because Spring is at this moment only multiplayer so saving game in useless. But some solo campaign are still in developpement.

2 : Scripts are used to test the game without a lobby. You can try them, like Air combat test etc...

3 : Don't know. I think you have to try yourself to see which gameplay you like the more. Try at least Balanced Annihilation (BA), XTA and Complete Annihilation (CA)

press enter to get the chat entry window and write
, to load launch just spring (the engine, not the lobby) and select the savefile

scripts are sorta missions, but atm they are no more than tech demos to test spring

Thanks for replying! this is really going to help me. I'll try out the mods that you suggested and try the save game thing.
How many of the mods support the AAI scripts?I tried the first AAI script with the Star Wars mod and the AI worked, but when I tried it with the evolution RTS mod it kept saying at the top of the screen that it couldn't load the script and that I should check if the mod supported the AAI script
Also, how do I set the game for multi player?

Start spring battle room, in the options tab (I guess) you can make an account and then you click the red button, press F1 for help.
