Spring RTS Engine

if I minimize Spring the game fails to keep up with simulation adds lag and such. I'm not sure why, maybe it's stopping rendering or something and restarting that lags, but still it's very annoying and alt-tab is just about useless if you're host.

Why's this happening?

think its pretty common for everybody, when minimized spring doesnt get the same cpu priority so it doesn't have enough cycles for spring

I find this sort of thing varies widely between computers and fullscreen games...Spring works fine for me minimized in fullscreen mode and in windowed mode, while Oblivion, for example, freezes permanently once minimized. The reverse is true on my friend's computer.
