Spring RTS Engine

(to start, sorry for my bad english I'm french^^)

my configuration:

processor: 2Ghz
memory: 256 M
graphics card: ATI raidon 9100 family
distribution: mandriva 2008.1

I explain you: in the options, I am has :
├óÔé¼┼ôgraphic quality - > medium├óÔé¼┬Ø
├óÔé¼┼ôgraphic d├â┬®tails-> medium├óÔé¼┬Ø
1024*768
16 bit-Z-buffer

I want to pass (because it is ugly) to:
├óÔé¼┼ôgraphic quality - > very hight├óÔé¼┬Ø
├óÔé¼┼ôgraphic d├â┬®tails-> hight├óÔé¼┬Ø
1280*1024
24 bit-Z-buffer

I try it...

..I launch spring and there, it is the drama:

ERROR : could not set video mod : couldn't find matching GLX visual

I launch the play in consol and there, it is still the drama

Code: Select all

Warning: Missing charsets in String to FontSet conversion

Personally, I do not understand anything...

Yes I use Linux !

So, I solved the main problem with GLX...but now, I have a second problem that I thought to be related to glx, I explain :

Take for exemple this picture http://www.jeux-strategie.com/fileadmin ... spring.jpg : at home, I cannot see grass, sand, and the mountain of various textures! I see either of sand everywhere, or of the gray everywhere, or of snow everywhere├óÔé¼┬ª it is very unpleasant...

I am not sure, but your graphics card seems really old. (and might not support all the features)

Maybe someone else knows more.
