Mapconv compiled typemap gets resized!

I just noticed that mapconv program resizes the typemap.
When i give 1025x1025 typemap (as it should be on 16x16 maps?), it gets resized into 512x512 and that resize smooths the pixels, so the typemap isnt correct anymore.
I have previously noticed how the typemap hasnt worked properly, seems like this is why.

Oh, and could someone make official releases of mapconv program and put it on this page with the source code:

Its fucking hard to find that map tool from the sites if you dont know the program name, people constantly asking it, etc. And i dont even know what is my mapconv program version...
