Hi,
I am experiencing some problems with my new map. Perhaps somebody can help:
Units make a huge deviation instead of using a certain path unless giving successive intermediate destination.
This happened since i added features. I tried to remove the features near the path, it didnt change anything. The situation returned to a normal state when i removed all the features. So it seems to be problematic only when features are on the map, no matter if they really block the path or not.

the problem occurs when you send a vehicle through the ford in the north from/to a quite distant start/destination - its less obvious with kbot since they can climb to a shorter deviation.
I will try to investigate a more to determine what is the exact trigger of this odd pathfinding. To help me in this task, can somebody tell me how the pathfinding system deals with features? (or link me to a place where i can read such an explanation) Is there any pathfinding information about features in the smt/smf file?
Last question: should such a problem be reported in mantis?
