Ok, let's see...

I have searched the forums, but couldn't find a solution that works.

I have the latest release of Spring. I have the latest release of the lobby. The lobby connects to taspringmaster.clan-sy.com at port 8200. I live in Sweden (people have asked about country) I could connect without problems 2 days ago, I played 2 days ago. No problems.

Code: Select all

21:00:28] Connecting to taspringmaster.clan-sy.com ...
[21:00:28] Cannot connect to server!
[21:00:28] Trying next host in the list ...
[21:00:28] Connecting to buildbot.no-ip.org ...
[21:00:29] Cannot connect to server!
[21:00:29] Trying next host in the list ...
[21:00:29] Connecting to localhost ...
[21:00:29] Cannot connect to server!
What's the problem? Where did I fuck up? Answers are appreciated.

EDIT: In zonealarm, telling it to allow TAS Client to connect instead of asking. Zonealarm never asked...

It's possible your dns entry for the server is broken for whatever reason...try 87.96.163.17 as the address, and if that works, flush your dns cache.

Thanks for your (instant) reply.

Code: Select all

[21:04:26] Connecting to 87.96.163.17 ...
[21:04:26] Cannot connect to server!
[21:04:27] Trying next host in the list ...
[21:04:27] Connecting to taspringmaster.clan-sy.com ...
[21:04:27] Cannot connect to server!
[21:04:27] Trying next host in the list ...
[21:04:27] Connecting to buildbot.no-ip.org ...
[21:04:27] Cannot connect to server!
[21:04:27] Trying next host in the list ...
[21:04:27] Connecting to localhost ...
[21:04:27] Cannot connect to server!
I'm clueless :(

EDIT: Solved it. I added the client to Allow-list in ZoneAlarm. Strange, it was supposed to ask me if i would allow it to connect, but never did... TAS Client wasn't on Deny or anything...

EDIT2: Thank you for your support btw.

Well it's obvious that you can reach the server on port 80...perhaps your router (or ISP) is blocking the connection? Have you installed any software firewalls since you were last on?
edit: aha!
