hi, for TA:WD i´m be very interested in a map look like this:

ps.: i do NOT mean these OTA style desert maps...
i would create it by my own.. but terragen crashes if i render so big landscapes.. and i have much work with texturing atm

How Big?? If 16 x 16 is big enougth then sure count me in.

"Dunes" would be hard to pull off in Spring without them having a terraced effect. "Gradual" slopes are hard to pull off.

Depending on your max and min heights :)

if dunes and so on are impossible... maybe something like the battlefield map, which was included in spring on screenshots ? (i mean the color/landscape-style)

Is it just me or is something wrong with that second picture?

If making gradual slopes is an issue in Spring, perhaps this is something we should raise with the SY's?

I think gradual slopes are just as important as steep slopes.

I dont see dunes being a problem... well, i haven't tryied, but they should be ok im sure.
