spring.exe crash when connecting to server

Hello.
Whenever I run spring.exe, I select "Commander", then a map, and the BA mod.
Its starts up and I get the following messages:
Client connected on slot 0
Connecting to Server
A few seconds after this the program crashes and I get a error box:
Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
Runtime Error!
Program: C:\Program Files\Spring\spring.exe
Abnormal program termination
Any ideas about how to fix this?
(BTW I'm running MS Vista)
