"GL_ARB_ENV_combine not found" error that faq doesnt solves

I recently had to format my pc, and after that spring started giving out that error, but my spring settings are the same as always, and windows says that my graphic card driver is up to date... what could be causing this then?

I need a huge kick is the ass. Had forgotten to reinstall directX

Edit: My mistake, even after installing directX I still cannot play...

you sure you've got correct drivers installed?

Yes, tough they do not seen to be installed correctly (discovered that now). Now, anybody knows how do you install a driver then the step by step guide fails? :) Do I need to unistall the older drives before installing the new?

Edit: My driver was indeed corrupted. I reinstalled it and now spring is working again :)
