Hi!
I sometimes experience a problem when hosting a game. When starting the game everything seems fine so far i.e. everyone gets a connection but the IDs get messed up. That way you now have a different player's name. When everyone readied up the game also doesn't start but the countdown starts to decrease into negative values...
I also noticed I can immediately tell if this happened again or not because when I set my starting point there just appears that cone but no marker and so it also doesn't create this XXX has added: Start X in the Chatbox...
I use TASClient and always had Hole Punching activated although in the most recent cases where this happened I had no Firewall whatsoever active i.e. all ports were open (although the specific ones get forwarded anyway even if it were active)...
What does cause this?

Re: Hosting "bug" messing up IDs
I've had this happen a couple times too, I don't have the slightest clue what causes it, though.

This is an unsolved mystery atm, however you point out an interesting clue. If someone could figure out how to replicate this, it would get fixed much faster.[Krogoth86] wrote: I use TASClient and always had Hole Punching activated although in the most recent cases where this happened I had no Firewall whatsoever active i.e. all ports were open (although the specific ones get forwarded anyway even if it were active)
Re: Hosting "bug" messing up IDs
It occurs only when the player IDs are not in a straight succession, as far as I've experienced.
