Graphic Problems

Post by Cleru »

Hi,
I'm new to this game but my problem isn't new for me...
When I try to start the game the graphics and font look wired...
Image
and if i start a game another error occures causing the game to close and write the info-text.
Can someone Help me please???
This error also occures at the game "TrackBalls" ( http://trackballs.sourceforge.net/ ). so the similaritys could point at the origin...
Thanks in advance.

Hm... I remember having a similar fonts problem with SDL (I think). But you do know that you should start Spring through a lobby client, not just spring itself, yeah?

Either try older drivers until you find one that works or a different freetype6.dll, if it really is a font related issue.

Does Spring prefer local DLLs over the %path% folders? There could be an outdated DLL somewhere if it doesn't.
