Installation Problems

I downloaded the TA Spring Installer and then it wouldnt let me play because it said I had no maps. So I got a map and it said I had no mods, so I got a mod. Then it said I didn't have a cursor, so I looked it up and it said I needed to download the OTA Package and install it which I did. But that didn't help and I still get the same error message. I've tried to fix this myself but it looks like I missed something. Any ideas?

a clean reinstall could help.

also have a look at that: http://spring-portal.com/index.php/how-to-install

here is the complete base-folder, perhaps you dont have all files you need to play:

It works with kerpal panic. Maybe I just dont have the right files. I downloaded the base so I can try that later. I'll learn to play with Kerpal Panic though.

Update: Still not working even though I downloaded "base"

Try rerunning the installer. The internet downloads were not working properly for a while.

I thats what the problem is. I just played my first game and it was alot of fun. It seems like the game is about balancing EVERYTHING lol. To many of one thing and something else suffers. But the Lobby still wont work for me. It says trying next server in list; Error cannot connect, over and over and over and over. Is there a new server that its supposed to be using now?

Give SpringLobby a try? (if you aren't on it already)

Btw, give other mods a try too. They go as far as even having different graphcis/effects, not just units/balancing.

Try uninstalling, deleting anything left in your spring folder and reinstalling again. Did you block the installer's downloads with your firewall?
