Annoying bug

FATAL ERROR
DxSound: Could not create direct sound object


What is this?? i dont even use sound! I tried turning it on and playing, I tried turning it off and playing, each time it just kept coming up and i've never had it before.

although I did get another error before this kept coming up but i never read it properly it said something like "host error" when i tried to play a game with about 10 bots.

What should i do?

*I have same bug and it doesnt relate especially in spring. It relates all programs which use direct sound or something...

this should be a FAQ or something - you need to set maxsounds to 0 in the registry (or in the settings, if it supports it, haven't checked in quite a while.)
