Spring RTS Engine

HELP!!!! I have reinstalled it 10 times or so, it started when i dled the VBS LUA Pack V8!

You could try deleting the contents of your C:\Program Files\Spring folder and reinstall selecting the mod Balanced Annihilation.

doesnt that mean ill lose all of my things like mods, maps, logs and the like?

Just put the contents of http://xta.wolfgame.org/base.zip into your spring folder.

Well, you could try just rerunning the installer and selecting to install Balanced Annihilation, but if you messed up your install some other way, you might have to delete stuff.

rename old spring folder into another folder. install again. voila.

delete everything in the luaui folder and reinstall.

It would work fine if you delete you spring folder (though there's really no reason it wouldn't work under any conditions of your spring folder, unless you have spring or the lobby open).

i did something like that before, i created a new folder and reinstalled it to there, no effect

Did the shortcut still point to the old folder?

yes, but i went through the Program files way

Well that solution works for other people, so I don't know what to say.
