Spring RTS Engine

Starting up a game among friends, one of our computers joins the game and is "desynched". As in, in the "Sync/Bot Owner" column he has a red X.

Note that this is before the game has begun. We have tried reinstalling, no good. We have tried having him host, in which case everyone else shows up as desynced.

Everywhere I have looked on this site, I only see things regarding desyncing in game, which (let me reiterate) is not what is happening. He is desynced in the lobby and we cannot start the game.

Any ideas?

Edit: Makes no difference what mod we choose

Desyncing in lobby most likely indicates that you have different files. Do a completely clean reinstall (delete the folder) and make sure you get maps and mods from the exact same source, and if you get a Total Annihilation based mod outside of the installer, make sure you all have OTA content.

You didn't look very hard then, as I answered this question about 10 times in this sub forum over the past few days. Make sure you don't have any old mods in your mods folder and make sure your base folder has these files in it: http://installer.clan-sy.com/base/
