Spring RTS Engine

I just downloaded the update, but when I open the lobby, it crashes as soon as it connects to the server.

Anyone know what it is?

There's nothing to tell, really.

After I click the log in button, it shows all the links and info for about half a second then it just closes. No errors or anything.

I just tried AFLobby, and it did the exact same thing. So it's not the lobby itself, maybe it has something to do with the server?

And I ran the game with SpringSP and it started up fine.

Maybe it's the unitsync or something... (not terribly familiar with it) but it essentially runs when the lobby connects to do the checksums on the current files you've got... maybe it's corrupt of something.

I just re-installed the lobby, and it still happens.

Any other ideas?

Someone was mentioning something about unitsync.dll not being found correctly by settings.exe... you might want to rerun that and see if it helps?

or maybe you're banned :)

Nothin'. I even deleted unitsync.dll and re-installed. Still nothing.

That wouldn't close the lobby, though, that'd just give me a message and keep me from logging on.... Right?

I wasn't banned, by the way.

You're lucky the client just closes.
Over here, it locks up the computer for 5 minutes, probably because of MASSIVE cpu load. I also get a very disturbing system beep every 30 seconds.
I'm not touching Spring again before I know this is resolved.

Check to make sure you have mods and maps, the server is down that hosts the mods and maps.
