lups manager sloooow & ba fusion bug

i just gave 100 corfus and then looked some empty ground, fps was about 75 and when i turned lups off it was 145

and when i look those 100 fusions fps is: lups off: 120, lups on:35

mod: ba591, map: small divide

someone needs to optimize it

gpu: geforce 8800gts
cpu: intel core 2 quad 6600Q

that special lua fusion effect isnt in the middle, map speed_ball_10x10, same mod

If someone can fix this please let me know and I'll give you BA 6.0 to do it on. I know even less than Noize does about modmaking. ;)

Is it also misalligned on other maps? IIRC Speedball has adjusted unit models.

Might be due to unit rotation ([ ]).

Lups is pretty new and ambitious, its still got errors and weirdness. Either way, if you dont like it turn it off- no harm.

Coordinates for the LUPS effects are not affected by the rotation of the structure, if I recall, so that seems plausible.

It is no bug.

The GetUnitDir() function doesn't work for many unittypes, and its known since I used it the first time, but it is the only way in 75b2 to go into unit-/piece-space. Also trepan directly add the missing functions to the api as he heard about the problem ( :-) ).

yeah that rotation seems to do it

isnt it possible to just change the coordinates when you have rotated the buildings?
