Spring RTS Engine

Just a Book i want to recommend - not because of the Book (which is great!) but because of the cool description of a cryogenic Planet (like those on Quantos Maps) and the difficultys moving and fire weapons upon it. For example everyone who steps upon frozzen hydrogen and has just a degree little more temperature brings the hydrogen to melt & boil, so in fact becoming some sort of hovercraft. Bodytemperature leads to explosionlike boiling up of Gas - Weapons are powered up by there temperature... Anybody ever read something similiar intersting in SF-Books about the Planetary Surfaces on which Spring is moving ?

Just think about how"realistic" SF-Maps could challenge the Players...
