Spring RTS Engine

i can't even get on spring anymore cos of all the timeouts when i get in i get about 2 seconds before i time-back-out again. Danuker and Wizard were also complaning about it in #main and im sure there are lots more people with the same problem. so how can i stop it??

I assume the problem is server-side, in which case, we wait.

I've gone from Dial-Up, to DSL, to cable.

I have never timed-out, nor had lag/desync...

I really doubt that it's server side. But I heard from other people that it only happens to them in Spring, which is just as weird.

I believe he is mentioning lobby timeouts, which occur when something is up on the server side of things.

FFS i have spent almost all day today trying to get onto spring. i get about 10 seconds in, just enough time to type 1 thing (it works if im lucky) before i timeout again. This is really annoying me. Everytime i log in i see a really good game open and i go to join it and i just timeout! How do i fix this damn thing??

Neddie, it's on his end, only he's had it of anyone today at least, and also, it kept saying that he quit, never that he timed out.

My only recommendations are to scan for viruses, disable unused programs, makes sure firewall is off, or that spring is allowed, and make sure your drivers are up to date. If all else fails, try reinstalling spring.

Are you using the default client?
