Alt tab Bug

Hey im experiencing this bug wen alt tabbing were sometimes i cant get bak into the game i can hear the game even type in chat yet the screen wont load up for me
it is very random... sopmtimes i can alt tab fine then other times i cant alt tab at all
:S
any1 got any idea why this is happening
i got
a p4 2.8 ghz processor
2 gigs of ram
and a x1950 XT

I and my teammates often experienced this bug. Giving back the focus to spring is sometimes evil. I found that using the taskbar give worse results than alt-tabbing to restore spring focus.

Many, many games suffer from this (particularly Source Engine games, if I alttab out of TF2 it dies and forces me to kill it). Alttabbing is generally more successful than clicking the taskbar icon.

it never used to happen to me b4 and it keeps occuring its also a bit random it mostly seems to happen im zoomed out the most if that could be causing it i dunno it never used to hapen
like i just had a game and a pop up came up (argh) i went bak in fine then it went out again and wen i tried to get bak in it didnt let me
i did scroll out tho b4 the second time i tried to get in so i was at full scroll out view and then my pc didnt let me load bak in i could hear the sounds and chat like always amd cud also press all commands
dunno how this happened or how to fix it tbh its annoying cos i cant alt tab wen specing incase i cant get bak in and if i get a pop during game gg.. its 50/50 if i can get bak in or not
(just ruined a 3v3 game for me)
