i was messing around with camtasia and spring recording clips when stuff messed up and i was forced to use ctrl alt delete to close spring.

Now when I try to launch a game I am shown the following message

"Update Drivers.
Needed extension GL_ARB_texture_env_combine not found."

I reinstalled spring but no change. Someone in the lobby said update drivers, but I have no clue what that means or what I would do to accomplish this.

cheers

Andy doesn't know how to update drivers? :P What kind of card do you have? Uninstalling and reinstalling your graphics drivers might help.

You should probably apply for a name change then...

perhaps down to "LIMITED-FIELD-OF-EXPERTISE_rANDY"

Well, look in your add/remove programs and see if there is an entry for the nvidia driver and uninstall it. If not, download and install the latest driver from: http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp_163.71.html
