greyed out craters

when i turn the decals on the craters are supposed to be black and that sort of color right? well, my craters are a smooth light grey, sort of like concrete! help me out here guys! grey concrete craters are disgusting!

irrc i think the craters (colour, how big they are (hardness) ) are controlled/defined by the map...

The grey ground decals is a bug.

It has been fixed already in the development version, so just wait for next release.

:shock: but i have the version .75b2 bugfix release...didnt they fix it then or is it one of the bugs that got through testing overlooked? :?

Don't know how but I did it in 0.76b1. It turned normal after a bit. (Two jugs were firing at each other and my ground decal is set to highest(this could have been it))

the grey is normal iirc. the CA dgun did the same before quant changed the effect.

PS: somebody should fix the groundquad rendering and replace it with triangles.
