Spring RTS Engine

some interesting things I have noticed in replays with the new version.

firstly, often two players with diffrent teams (and allies) will appear with the same team number and colour on the .info list, even thought they are playing on diffrent sides with diffrent colours in the replay.

that isnt so bad but is probably linked to the other problem, which is if i try and watch a replay from a teams perspective (using nunber keys to select a team) the replay instantly desyncs and it stops following the events of the game, with units just piling up outside factories and coms dgunning nothing.

Does it happen everytime (with the same demofile) or randomly? If so, could you plz upload such a file somewhere and post a link? Would be usefull...

I had this problem once too, but I think it was because I was trying to watch a 75b1 replay with 75b2 Spring. Units would just stand in front of the factory after they were built and ressources would not be spent because the factories that should have used them didnt get build.
(In Starcraft you can sometimes force the same problem if you watch a replay on fastest speed on a slow computer)

Also, in replays if you put 2x speed, all pingtimes are divided by 2.
The mouselicks per minutes endstats probally also get messed up by changing speed.

All calculated speeds are affected by changing the speed of a replay, including the end-game charts, yes.

which shouldnt be, of course.

theres no need to upload because it happens with every replay, across a variety of mods and maps, i watch the replay of every game i play. it is the same everytime; watching games from a players perspective desyncs and often two players are shown in the .info bars as the same colour and team/ally despite being diffrent colour/team
