Just built a new computer with an 8800, and I keep getting this (after which spring freezes or crashes). Any ideas? There's no stacktrace, infolog:

Did you insert a disk into drive D: ?

Yeah..stuck a few random cd's in (including the driver cd) and clicked try again, just froze.

It loads fine, runs at ~30fps on highest settings for about 40 seconds, then does that.

eh, seems to just be a driver bug that only occurs on sm3 maps (other maps just randomly crash :-)

Forb once got a CD rom error running Gundam. Touch base with him, and you may have some common factors.
