Spring RTS Engine

I'm new here and I have a questen.
I downloaded Spring off this site but I can't connecked to the server. how do I do that?

Ok do you mean server as in 'the host of the game' or 'the lobby server'?

Are you behind a router? A university network?

Linux? Windows? XP? sp1? sp2? Vista?
