Spring RTS Engine

Allright first of all I must say everybody who I have talked to has tried their best to help me, I thank them for that.

Now my problem, Ok my system specs are not the best, 3.2 ghz processor 512mg ddr ram and a crappy geforce4 mx

Now when I start the game it does not allow me to see text or anything
all i see is this dark mini map and i can move around, its just everything is black (except my units health bar) I can select him and such and tell him to move, but I can't see.

I have the latest driver and a few screenshots but I do not know how to upload them.

Any help?

Turn off shadows, first of all. Long shot, but it may be an issue. Turn down your settings on the whole, I used to play on a rig with the same stats, except a weaker processor.

Could it have anything to do with the fact that I am playing on smalldivide map?

I am also playing with the balanced annihilation mod, the thing is, it just feels like it should work. I know a while ago i once got this game working, but that was with an older version.

I think I should be able to run it though, I talked to people with worse specs then mine who could run it.[/img]

I ran it fine on a 440mx + 1ghz socketA amd + 512MB sdram (not to mention the fact that I run it on a celeron+intel integrated regularly), so I can't see hardware being the problem.

well if anyone else can help please do. otherwise i think i'll be playing TA a little more.

Good news, thanks to help from many people and frustration on mine, I got it working.

What I did is reinstalled all drivers and did a complete system restore, it all works fine now, thanks guys! now i finally have something to do while my buds are gone on vacation.

What operating system are you using?
