Crashing when hosting with LUA enabled?

A question: Is it a well known bug that hosting a game (e.g. BA) with LUA enabled causes strange crashes ingame of the host? Or should that work normally?

Trepan posted a fix in the dev forum a while back. Lua API has a thread race condition crash for hosters, its fixed in the svn but it was too late to make it into 0.74b3, so trepan who fixed it, posted a new build of spring with just the fix added.

My mistake.

In that case, solider, turn off lua UI when hosting.c

Ok, thx for answer. So lets hope 0.75 will be available in a not so distant future...

A last question: In which way does the host crash? A friend of mine had very hard crashes: First a black screen in midgame and then a reboot. Is this really the way it happens when this bug appears?

No. The game just quits. Reboots could indicate hardware issues.
