Since storm is taking his time converting my maps I decided to start converting one myself.
This is an early shot.. on a crappy card but I will have newer shots as I get the sky and clouds worked out.

Those cliff are really high? Is this a commie in the water? Or a bigger-than-a-comm-gundam? Looks good, but I wonder how long it takes for the units to climb to the top. Maybe what's to blame is more the engine that makes any slope climbeable
The whiter stripes are vertical. Usually in the nature those kind of stripes are more horizontal, as they result from the accumuluation of varied strata of sedimentation, or at least varied past water level.
I hope there's enough flat ground left to build a base and some units. And since it's apparently a rendered map, I hope the filesize stays reasonable.

The gundam com is slightly taller then your average com. He has a 2X2 groundplate size if that helps any.

I hope this helps set the scale for you all...
At the shore line that is a cluster of laser towers and nanolathing is a shipyard, airbase and a hoverplatform. in the FAR back are some adv kbot labs.
In the middle of the lake is a few wombats.
I hope this helps.

hmm... very reminiscent of the Temblorian maps, just with water instead of clouds...
I am looking forward to spring allowing void areas that can be given all sorts of different attributes, from glowing, bubbling lava to impenetrable, slwoly shifting clouds... ^_^
