hunterw's protips!!!!!:

1.) whoever is hosting a game gets to pick the map to play.

2.) since that is the case, host games with your maps and get people to join your game.

3.) then play the game on your map.

4.) if your map is fun then people will host it and play it

Your maps do cater to the DSD crowd very well though, so it helps. :P

its suposed to be a bigger version of frostbite glad sum1 recognised it :]

i like frostbite its my faiv 2v2 map and its alot of fun so i thought a bigger version for more players would be fun to

im working on the texture atm

having problems with photoshop not saving the filter work and stuffi m doing in layers even if i merge layers :S

its dimensions r 12*24

and might have a bit less water in comparison the original

but i made the middle less symetrical and varied so its more fun :D natural trenches and stuff ftw

dont really want to have to turn this into a CA discussion but ur false acusations are making me do this so...

CA's code is more optimised than BA/SA other *A code hence the cpu strain is generally less. The Gpu strain in CA might be a bit higher mainly due to lups and some of the visual lua. If u disable stuff like units on fire LUPS and CA menu, CA on a normal (not super computer like u claim mine to be..) should have less of a cpu strain than other *A mods,

On my old pc (p4 2.8 1 gb ram 512 ati card) i could run CA better than BA because i was being realistic about my pc's performance ability in spring(which some people fail to do) and had lups and CA menu off.

These are false claims if your pc cant run some of the LUA dont run it but CA as a base without the uneccesary LUA is more optimised than other *A mods so should run smoother normally..

I lag more in BA than in CA. This is because ca doesnt have lawl mm farming, and OMGWTF spam in most games. Also the ca nano-effect lags me less.

WEll maybe it is more optimized, but it lags forme..i get mouse lag at start.. and game slows down even though in ca there usually arent alot of units at any given moment compared to other a mods.

I always wanted to host decent, underplayed maps, but my connection fails. :(

Anyway, I'd like to see more asymmetric maps. Like River Dale and Braz. Are they that much harder to make? So many are strictly symmetric...
