You just described Kung Fu Hustle to me.

Generally I watch fighting movies in the background while doing other things. It really makes the subpar storytelling/acting/whathaveyou more palatable. As a result, I have a soft spot for the Undisputed series. They may not be good films, but damn, they make good background noise. Really I'm more for revenge films than fighting movies.

You should watch "The Princess Bride" and "Sympathy for Lady Vengeance" if you haven't already seen them.

I forgot to tell that Kung Fu Hustle was less funnier in english dubbing than with finnish subtitles, somehow the asian language just sounds more funnier and fits the moment better, so if you havent seen non-dubbed version, you better watch it!

Also makes more sense that Shaolin Soccer sucked a lot; it was dubbed in english too  Although, even without dubbing, i cant see how it could have been a good movie... felt like watching DBZ, brainless shooting with magical powers etc... cant really compare Kung Fu Hustle to Shaolin Soccer, one has style, one doesnt.
