and listening to theme songs for all the cities in heroes 2 i cant really say the heroes 2 variants surpass this necropolis theme from HV.
@heroes 2 and 3 comparisons.
Gameplay wise I don't really see how heroes 2 was different or better and visual style is very hard to argue about(personally though i really hated the elemental castle added in heroes 3 Armageddon both visually and the concept itself)though you should know that heroes 2 and 3 were made by the same exact people from new world computing.
Story wise i truly don't know but I don't care about story and I hardly ever play campaigns i can however understand those that do like campaigns so that might be a valid point.
In any case,imo in terms of gameplay heroes 3 and 5 are almost identical and heroes 5 visual style just needs getting used to.
I suggest getting Heroes 5 tribes of the east and playing.

Tbh graphically 2 was the best. 5 is second, 1 is third. 3 and 4 don't compare.
