Okay, so there are some... mostly pirated, hacked, freeware games, plus Street Fighter 4.

That's lots.

@Raghna

Depends on the console. On the DS the left-hand has access the DPad and L-shoulder. On the iPod you have multi-touch so you can have a button to hold down to make it LClick. If you want to get really bizarre, Wacom products have an rclick and middle-click button on their styli.

And of course tons of indie games like Melty Blood and Scarlet Weather Rhapsody but this is getting off-topic.

There was a really simple but very nifty tile based RTS game on Palm OS, its main failing point being that they'd deliberately crippled it to make you buy the full version.

But it was fully featured and had HUGE maps.

Really the lack of half decent workable playable iPhone/Android RTS games, is simply them being bad UI wise and not realising what can actually be done.

iPad version of this game anyone?

The platform is based on tilting the whole unit and touching the screen with your fingers. You're advocating it to people who spent more on their video card than an iPhone costs, who buy special-purpose mice just for the purposes of gaming.

That, and Jobs has kind of proven himself to be a dick about the App Store.

we're 'tech geeks' to the rest of society, I think the rest of us would have learnt to just download the jailbreak program and quit whining about Jobs by now
