At the very least, try and take some of the other moderators down with you, alright?
Wait till I change my location to "Unemployed and living in an economically depressed factory town who's claim to fame is a knife factory, movie theater and super-walmart with my wife and two kids in my mother and father in law's spare room while my all my worldly possessions sit in storage."
... as opposed to an economically depressed Canadian factory town who's claim to fame is a few steel mills (me), or an economically depressed Canadian factory town who's claim to fame is Wayne Gretzky and nothing else (Caydr).

Although I've got a job, and I'm pretty sure Caydr is still working too.

But yeah, that sucks. Seriously, stop farking around and go take advantage of our glorious Canadian single-payer medical system and SEE A DOCTOR. And get a job. And ebay that shiat you've got in storage - I've never seen a storage place that cost under $60/mo, and that's money you could be spending on a mortgage.

summer time approaches... go door to door and offer to mend fences / gates / woodwork... paint some houses

im pretty much on the same tip, my entire summer is pretty much already planned and filled (trip to florida must wait for winter i guess) with rebuilding garages, building decks and the like as well as small jobs that feature what i mentioned above

its not easy work but its easy to get the job if you are personable and competent. and hell, working for yourself (IMO) is pretty much the most satisfying way. you go to church, i assume fellow churchgoers are aware somewhat of your situation, so why not better yourself while letting them help you?

also you may be psychologically disturbed and may need to visit a doctor... but that's been covered in previous posts.

My apartment burned down with pretty much everything I owned in it once.
That would suck!

Even if you're not a packrat, and can afford to replace it all, just replacing the clothes would really blow. Let alone the mementos. Definitely would be a bummer.

Yep, I switched to a different apartment right afterwards and bought some more food. I got a lot of presents from people too since I didn't have the money to buy all of the stuff. Charity and disaster relief organizations are a wonderful thing when the entire wing of your apartment complex burns down and you were on the top floor sleeping at the time. I was lucky to get out in time and no one was hurt. Some nice ladies at my grandmother's church made a lovely handmade quilt for me and I received a lot of clothes.

oh dear, now this makes me paranoid. Should I put some of my backup drives into some sort of fireproof housing?

Backup your data on some microSD cards and inject them into your veins.

I was once sick after eating 2 uncooked pasties. Ever since then I've never been a big fan of pies/pasties/sausage rolls (any pastry product).
Sausages are great though

I'm confused, are you trying to do some kind of epic quazi-ironic troll-baiting or have you lost track of which of my posts you are trolling?

I should clarify. The drops aren't only for me, they're also insurance for certain potential legal and financial beneficiaries.
