America is a Republic (although the dems are doing their best to put an end to that). As such a more than 2 party system would lead to little more than chaos. It's not like it hasn't officially be discussed. In fact there are over 60 parties in the US, as a matter of fact I'm a part of 2 of them (Conservative and Libertarian). The simple fact is that these parties have a candidate the runs for president every election, but these candidates cause nothing but disruption. They have no chance of winning (even though Ron Paul (libertarian Candidate) had a somewhat respectable run this last election) and simply detract votes from the main candidates.
People not in this country easily forget... The US is 50 states governed by a final entity. What that means to you is, 50 different countries under one federal government. Democrats want the federal government to dictate law everywhere, where as republicans are for states rights (In other words, states should govern themselves). That is where the essential fabric gets torn.

Oh really? How do explain then the fact that the Republicans have repeated fought to override state laws in regards to drugs, abortion and other issues? Sure they're for state rights, when it suits them.

You are speaking of them as a whole. Those are factions inside the party.
Reasoning for drugs: Drugs are bad, mmkay? So they should be illegal across all 50 states.
Reasoning for abortion: Abortion is killing a child. Therefore it is murder and should be illegal across all 50 states.
Personally I think drugs should definitely be a state issue. Abortion is a hot topic with much debate and imo should also be a state issue. However, if abortion really is murder, then it makes sense for it to be illegal across all of the states doesn't it? That is valid ground to stand upon, therefore, that is why it is a federal government issue currently.
Having said that, this part of your statement:
Sure they're for state rights, when it suits them.
Has been debunked. Do you really think that all democrats are supporters of abortion? Hardly.
Moreover, your original statement is an oxymoron.
Oh really? How do explain then the fact that the Republicans have repeated fought to override state laws in regards to drugs, abortion and other issues? Sure they're for state rights, when it suits them.
Fighting to override a state law is what you should be doing, instead of having to fight the federal government. Assuming you wrote what you actually intended to write, it's obvious that you still don't understand what the states are fundamentally.
In this case, drugs are outlawed by the federal government. Abortion is allowed by the federal government. Individual states cannot go against a federal law.

Individual states cannot go against a federal law.
Wasn't this the real cause of the civil war?

One of many, but yes, it played a large role. Emancipation Proclamation being another big player.
Funny about all the ado over slavery here, considering we learned it from the Europeans. Have the blacks in Europe ever sought "reparations" (I don't know)?

I'm unsure of how many were moved from Africa to Europe, since it already had plenty of cheap labour. Native populations have been seeking reparations, with varying degrees of success.

No, don't think I implied that. I meant that Islam as a whole, for one example, has been the convenient invisible enemy for far too many American politicians. Juliani can't go nine minutes and eleven seconds without referencing his own
courageous, valiant leadership during that time. Every time Bush got close to being brought to heel he mentions "terrorists and 9/11" and BAM, let's do something else crazy.
It was horrible, learn lessons from it and move on, don't dishonor the people who died that day by using it as a psychological weapon against your own people, or as an excuse to kill literally hundreds of times more innocent people elsewhere. Estimates at the number of dead unarmed civilians in Afghanistan and Iraq (combined) have many hundreds of thousands dead as a low figure, and well over a million as a high one.
A million! Just three thousand was enough to inspire a nation to go batshit insane (rightly), can you even conceive of the number of terrorists the opportunistic American warmonger faction created by killing that many people? If every airliner that's
ever been flown went kamikaze-mode I doubt it would kill that many.
In the eyes of the world, you've become a menace. Obama simply not being a complete douchebag was such a worldwide relief he got a nobel prize for it. Not that the average American would likely know about worldwide opinion, when all your media cares about is that your new President does things like, as a guest in a foreign country, follows local social customs. "We're American, **** what the world thinks" doesn't work anymore. You need us, and you're our biggest customer.

Normally I'd agree, but I think the author was actually sincere in his question, as retarded as it may have been, so the troll was unintentional at best, hardly a real troll at all.
Like if I was to say, "Smoth, know any good furry anime?"
But then follow it up with, "Because after Spice and Wolf I'm not sure I can go back."

wow, 4chan did it, creation of a social computervirus, distributing it through the intertubes, killing off any rational comunication, destroying every sence off beeing online at all, im impressed, i admit i had doubts, that trolls would conquer the world of words, making the mainstream from a sewer into a standing cloaca.
I guess bombing moods building should remedy the situation.

One big advantage one has to admit of 50 diffrent states, all govered by themselves is a lot of experimental stuff happens, and as nature shows variation survives. Monocultures get the plague. I hate to say that, but if those Republicans existed Forb fantasizes about (which un4chanatly are just behaving like democrats for non-us-countrys) at least some american states would survive the economic crisis on there own.
