Does the ip address have to be my computers ip address or should I use localhost?

The IP in accounts.txt? That's just added by tasserver to record the last IP the user was on; you don't need to change anything other than the username and password.

Arg I still cant get it to work, the command box opens for a second then instantly closes.

Run it from the command prompt so that you can see the output.

windowsKey-R -> cmd -> navigate to the directory of tasserver (cd and dir are your friends), java -jar tasserver.jar

Grr I have looked for a windows JDBC driver and i cant find anything that looks like it could help me.

Why is everything so cryptically laid out? Would it be too much to hope for a nice dedicated lobby and dedicated game server with GUI by next release?
