Yes,i Like talking shit about fallout new vegas because its jsut crap and it abuses a cool franchise by making a game with less features than the original ones, which were made more than 10 years ago...

What adds a cherry on top are all the "Michael bay fans" who have absolutely no standards when it comes to games and entertainment products in general(including movies books and more), and who buy any crap that gets assembled from preexisting molds that have been used to create the same carbon copies of games made a decade ago.
If you gonna play a game at least play a good one nabs.

Thought it would be fun ;p

Back on topic. New vegas is a fun game by todays standards. i like the improved exploration/factions specifically. But hardcore mode and the new features it makes you use are nice too.

I do agree, being able to haul every gun you can find is a but stupid, but that will be fixed with mods soon enough. I would also like to see a more dynamic world, but point me to a single player game that does..

NetHack

Although to be fair it is relatively easy to make procedural/indeterminate games without any graphics.

I still haven't finished (school is kinda slowing me down a bit) but I find it a little odd that I've reached level 20something and have maintained good relationships with all factions (except the powder gangers who I don't really care about) including the 3 main ones. I've only found 1 deathclaw, and that was during the big fight on Black Mountain which was a really fun (and long-- 30 mins at least) battle, in spite of my companions being completely retarded.

I had managed to steal some power armor, and not being able to use it myself, gave it to Cassidy. So now, even though the AI actively tries to kill my companions, I have a small buffer zone where I can take a break from blasting the crap out of baddies to heal them.

@pintle/basic
I don't have time to go over all you're points, but some of them at least were very true. F:NV has a lot of flaws.
- It uses same engine as Oblivion/F:3 which kinda sucks,
- I really hate yes-man, and all he represents. I don't need a robot to outright tell me what I'm supposed to do, rubbing up against the fourth wall.
- As mentioned before the AI is kinda missing its "I".
- I never liked scripted events that take all my stuff, and they happen constantly in F:NV
- edit: oh I also can't stand Mr. New Vegas for some reason. I just find him an insufferable prick. Does he actually live somewhere like 3-dog or does he just live on the radio? Btw the radio gets really repetitive really quick.
And there is probably lots of nits that could be picked, but focusing on the negatives are easy. I had fun. Am still having fun actually. I've got my 12 gauge hunting rifle with half a dozen ammo types and just figured out how to jury rig my chainsaw to max health. (and I carry half a dozen other weapons just in case :mrgreen: )
