Problem with aircraft targetting
Not exactly with targetting as the topic implies, but rather with the values it returns for animation. "Normal" non-gunship non-builder aircraft are affected by this bug. When a rotating turret is present on an aircraft, the whatever function is providing AimWeaponX with the heading and pitch does not take aircraft rotation into account. Therefore, if the target was 90 degrees right, and the aircraft turned 90 degrees left while it aimed, the barrel would be turned correctly-90 degrees right in relation to the aircraft. But the target is now behind the aircraft.. If the aircraft does not change course, but target heading changes, the turret will continue to aim with its side. Tested also in FPS mode, moving the mouse results in both the aircraft and turret turning, resulting in double aim angle. If the aircraft is turned with the arrows, turret remains in place. Fix soon please, it's very annoying.
