Epic drastically drops the price of Unreal Engine
Use google for engine v4: 20 dollars/month + 5% sell-price for full engine + source + full toolset.

Re: Epic drastically drops the price of Unreal Engine
My question aims open minded projects, primary.
Re: Epic drastically drops the price of Unreal Engine
Yes free opensource projects will have to drop their prices to compete
Re: Epic drastically drops the price of Unreal Engine
The competition got fierce there yes
But my guess, this is just some hidden hook contract. Like "if you make money with our engine, our license demands that you sing that one queen song monetary wise"
Also alternatives.. snow engine by massive got rother nice. CryEngine. QuakeEngine is still good. Source Engine..
Its not like they are alone out there. Not everyone giving out stuff for free wants your very best of thee.

Also for 40 $ you have the right for how much support, should the engine phail when it comes to specific requests?and I'm giving it all and I'm giving it all
It ain't much I'm asking if you want the truth
here's to the future hear the cry of youth
They want it all They want it all They want it all and They want it now

Well Unity has a (good) free version, and a good development kit, so this isn't really that amazing. However, as more engines drop prices, it can't be a bad thing :)
