Not that I care to go into it, but 3g antenna is the same as the one used for calling. 3g will shut off when a phone call is active. Generally speaking. That isn't to say that some phones don't have separate antennas, but generally they use the same antenna, therefore, you can use one or the other, but not both simultaneously.

Can I just point out this is not true. GSM/GPRS(aka 2G) yes, CDMA yes, 3G no.

One of the defining advantages 3G has over CDMA and 2G tech is that it can download AND text/call at the same time. There's nothing stopping you recieving a call midway through a youtube video on a 3G connection ( unlike CDMA/2G which can text/call OR browse the net but never both at the same time ).

Those iPhone missed calls and texts it never told you about? This is why, you probably turned off 3G to save power and your phone was busy checking mail or doing Push stuff when the call/text/mms came.

Whether the phone uses the same or multiple antennae has absolutely nothing to do with it. It's the way the technology works.

Err maybe you misunderstood. I was speaking of strictly CDMA. Guess it would have helped if I had made that clear.

Most of the providers in the US that use gsm are balls. A.K.A. T-Mobile, Verizon, etc.

The only truly unlimited data carrier in the U.S. left is Sprint.

Also, referring to gsm as "3g" is incorrect.

On an interesting subject, there are still some TDMA and *shudder* EDGE providers grasping to the fleeting tendrils of life here in the US.

I see her physical form as an indication of an unhealthy lifestyle. Part of feminism is the belief of social equality. If she was a dude, I would call him fat and shame him for it all the same. The other part of that is recognizing that if she wants to be a sex object then she has to do the work for her task. If you are interested you can pay me to write poor code instead if good code. Because that is how you are treating her. Just because you are worried about body image when that is exactly what this sort of picture is about... I really don't think that she looks very healthy. She could probably use some exercise to build muscle and eat more healthy food so that she receives the right amount of vitamins.

I had a pot belly and ate junk food when I had a BMI of 18, 2 and a half stone later I'm no thinner, can't fit into my 30inch waist trousers anymore, but I'm still not fat - I'm a perfectly healthy weight with a perfectly reasonable body fat percentage.

As is, quite clearly, the young woman in question.
