this camp supposedly had a helipad built and soldiers were filling sandbags(which contained archeological goods or some shit) with what they though was just sand. and tanks crushed some of the old road.

The ruins had already been messed with by sadam who was trying to make it a tourist attractions. Also the sites troops did not camp at were looted bare. The camp was established in 2003 which was definitely around when my friend went to babylon so i will ask him next time I see him but truthfully if soldiers were not there, it would have been stripped pretty bare.

I'm pretty sure I could find you a group of Christians who believe sarcasm is a sin but I'm not one of them. If you look at the books I've read in my life I imagine you will discover that either A: I am a huge hypocrite or B: I do not fit into the pigeon hole you have labelled "Christians" in your personal collection of biases, stereotypes and preconceptions. I was a christian, and I know many people who are christians, and they would agree with me ( they've raised that very point I levelled at you in the past )

Sadly no... I got a job where I have to bus for 2.5 hours a day (so more time to read) and have access to unlimited quantities of coffee (so more energy to think) and a lot of down time between calls (more time to post).

Sorry, I thought that using that word after a post defending my sarcasm was obvious enough for you to realize I was being sarcastic... though based on my interpretation of the wikipedia definition of Bigot (at least the part about "obstinately [...] devoted to his or her own opinions") fits... but the cultural connotation and the rest the the definition do not.
