Now I have 2xAA and 16x aniso in 1680X1050 with my not so new gfx card
and 40-50- 70 fps everywhere.
Can you explain what that is more clearly? Unless it already was, and I just didn't see it. It's stuttering for me and my not-so-great gfx card and I'd like to see if I can make it a little better.

When you put this file in the folder the game will use this one instead the one in your windows folder.
Why this works, no idea.

Not quite the level of explanation I wanted, but I figured it out. Definitely noticeable improvement, nice find.

Made it to the Strip last night 8)

Maybe they check the nearest DLL Possible?

i.e first on .../#Game Name#
then on .../windows (or other folders depending of the OS)

fu, damn deathclaws and these bees :D got character with 1 agilty, no companion and v.hard hardcore, gonna take a while :D

only thing that disappointed me (well, i dont mention graph, its obvious) is the size of locations, in F3 they were huge, lot of buildings to explore. now 'city' is made of 2 buildings >> (well, its after nuclear war, on the desert, so kinda makes sense)

for me, biggest difference between F:NV and all others Fallouts is that being good totally sux. damn gangs and legion assasins :D before, being good was the easiest way to win the game

You don't have to be good in any Fallout game. I still remember in F2 I couldn't find any guns so I went up to a shopkeeper (Flick from the Den), stabbed him in the eyes a few times and took all his (really good) loot.

Also, go around the deathclaws like that miner dude says; I actually haven't run into any at all.

Get boone as a companion, kill the great khans to get their weapons.

Torch those butterflies and let your companion shoot them.
Against the deathclaws I use a hunting shotgun with slugs.

I never killed shopkeepers in any fallout... :?

In F2 it was very very easy to get money anyway. Caravan runs from NCR to where ever paid like 2k a trip, and more often than not you'd encounter mutants or something. You could just run out of line of fire and let the guards kill the critters, and pick up loot from the fallen. As many Miniguns, lasers and full auto shotguns as you could carry.

Stealing was very easy too. If there was no-one else in the room you couldn't get caught. After first arriving to town, search every shack for anything that isn't nailed down and sell them to the shopkeeper. If you cheated by loading in case you got caught, you could basically steal anything regardless of guards with very little skill.

There were a few FO2 bugs too, a few instances in the game you could get shopkeepers to attack you without losing any Karma points, free guns basically.

There was also a trick where you could take on the whole slavers guild at quite early levels with a hunting rifle by shooting through the windows. No one would return fire and you could pick guys off as they ran around the front through the door.

Protips for hunting Achievments (for whatever reason)

Play on Hardcore mode on difficulty very easy (haha they dint though of that)

sucks only if you are using not opening the console even for save command

Mods (Yes even textures) disables achievment gain

Sucks only the WORLD MAP IS SMALLER!

How do you want to know about it?

Fact is the World map IS smaller

Fact is you could easily beat the game about 2-5 Days (Depending of difficulty and side missions etc...)

Fact is the Graphic is resalvaged from FO3 which looks quite shitty,
They should better making own Textures and not increasing file size

Fact is On Workbench/Reload Bench There isnt a sort menu

etc...

Ofc on some point is the Game good but on some point just sucks...

Like the Reload Bench is a good addition But somehow bad maked
or Weapon addons and Diverse ammo (should have it in FO3 IMHO) etc...

Instead of Buttering you ass . I would haircut you and really shiny and squeaky with Kane's Glapozeu (Glatzen-Polier-Zeug/Balding-Polishing-Things)

its a bit smaller, but u spend more time at the locations/traveling/doing quests.

2-5 days ? plz, dont use this argument, u could beat f2 in 9 min :D and side missions are all what this game is all about)

and i dunno what u got against reloading/workbench, stuff works good
