pretty good i'd say overall... much better than most tv shows, that's for damned sure. i'd love to mushroom slap the senators daughter.

afaik its produced by HBO... most of their shows in the past have been good too... oz, the wire, band of bros... the pacific is also excellent. i wish more television production company would take their cues from the success of high-budget production like this... it would make a lot of my channels a lot less worthless than they currently are

i'd love to see a "sequel" series to this, same actors, same ridiculous action, covering the tale of spartacus's('s's's's) slave revolution

Hmm... Think I read somewhere that it will continue, the problem was that the actor playing spartacus got cancer so they had to postpone the second season...
