Women are being allowed to fight in an army? Okay, Israel's an exception - but I mean a real army.

Also, their formation is highly impractical and ill-suited for fighting dragons. They have pikes, which will be good against the knife-wielding monster-dudes, but shields are very sparse and won't offer full-body coverage against a fire-breathing dragon.

Besides, from the phoenix emblem on their shields and the fact that they appear to wield fire, I would guess that they have some kind of racial fire alignment - who fights dragons with FIRE? Come on. Come ON! How unrealistic.

Their only chance would be if they have so many fire-wielders that they can literally fight fire with fire - this would be very practical but they have, again, foolishly put a number of their fire-wielders on the front line and they'll lose a lot of them to dumb lesser enemies. Even assuming all goes well, dragons can FLY, which gives them an overwhelming advantage. In fact, I'll call it right now: the dragon wins.

When you're going to fight a war, always determine beforehand the enemy's disposition of dragons.
