Exactly. I don't even care about MP for this, for that, I just play UrT right now, until something comes along with that kind of gameplay and better graphics.it looks like you're only talking about singleplayer which I haven't played very far (got to the part where you assault fast food places IIRC) so the cheater problem and all the other flaws of multiplayer aren't relevant
To the Quake-lovers... meh, I guess it's just a taste thing, but I like a game where speed and skill meet, and where jumping around like Mario on crack isn't a motif. I loved The Specialists, to put it another way- that was darn-near the perfect game for me, because I could kill 10 guys with the Glock and Taurus before getting pwned by some random sprayer or torn up by some slo-mo jujitsu artist. IOW, I'm not saying I like "realistic" FPS games, because I really, really don't- every time I play one, I can't resist being a bastard and playing it seriously, and then I kill so many nubs that I feel dirty afterwards. I just like one where your avatar's still fairly human in terms of what it's allowed to do, which is why I play UrT.
Yeah, I wanted a new game to play on this new computer, and I wanted it that evening, so voila, Steam, $60, no trip to the store or waiting. That means I get to play it one more evening, then get back to working on Spring stuff.you seriously paid 60$ for it?
