So...Is it any good?gfx is already beyond acceptable but what about gameplay?
Gameplay... I don't think I can explain it as there is nothing to compare to and I have not played it enough.
In some ways it is like constructing a time travel based puzzle for your opponent to unravel as they do the same thing, yet neither can see all the pieces.
As you can undo actions to a certain extent it is like playing a plan for an rts game.
Once units start jumping around the timeline things are very... interesting.
It defiantly makes you think and I find that fun. To some extent time has different importance. In some ways it is very important that something happens in as little time as possible as it could be interrupted.
I dont really like how you are limited with giving commands and need to set guard trees...
I think they have made some poor UI choices, though after playing for a bit most of the UI is ok. The extra cost for commanding many units is apparently to prevent rampart butterfly effects. Though the guard structure isn't just a guard structure, units follow others in general formation and in the context of time travel it is really useful as a few units can be told to help unit X with everything it does in the future.
The unit AI is a bit poor but they're improving it every update. They seem to share my opinion of useless micro.
Also a lot of the UI functionality and unit AI is changing due to player feedback.
What is your opinion?game any good?has a lot of potantial
I defiantly think it's good and has a lot of potential. There's really nothing like it.
that game didn't feel too impressive.
That's because you didn't watch it from my point of view

. Watching videos is quite confusing as the player will jump around on the timeline, change the speed and give orders for no apparent purpose. While playing you can get a general idea of which battles have not happened or happened differently just from looking at the timeline.
