Maps

Hey, so I just got the spring engine and spring lobby installed, got the mods in the right folder, and I thought I got the maps in the right folder, but when I go to test it out in single player, I am only able to select which mod, and not a map... I went and downloaded some specific maps for Balanced Annihilation as well as Complete Annihilation, and no-go...

I got my maps from http://www.ta-spring.com/maps/. That is, i downloaded "2 Valleys v.3 by Wired", and there were other maps already in the maps folder as well... I got some others as I was following links for Complete Annihilation as well... Yea, I'm just lost. Not sure what's wrong at this point. Any help appreciated. Thanks.

The maps should be going in ~/.spring/maps

You can also try downloading maps with SpringDownloader.

Anyway, I got the SpringDownloader up and running, got the maps put where they belong, and my game loaded. I tried running twice, and the first time it told me after 2 seconds: "you win!" And so I wondered if I was teamed with the bot that I put, and checked the 'FFA' box to make sure we weren't teamed, and it gave me some error. I don't remember what it said, so I'll have to go back and do it again. But yea, I got the maps up and running. Thank you.
