Movie recommendation

Post by Gota »

Do not read reviews or watch the trailer it will spoil the fun.Trust me.
This movie is good.
it's called "triangle".
Again,do not watch it's trailer or read a review.
It's IMDB rating is very low and does not represent it fairly.

triangle (2009)

I've seen the trailer of Machete, and since a trailer is all it was supposed to be, the whole movie is now spoiled for me.

Yesterday I went to see Black Dynamite, it was fun.

Movie remakes are totally inferior to the originals practically every time

That's just a corollary of: Only superior movies inspire remakes.

Eyes wide open staring into the gorgon's face? I am deeply shocked by such betrayal of the original material.

There.
I don't think the legend says anything about staring at the gorgon's tits.

It seems if your going to do some fantasy in the myth, might as well stick to the original myth. That god aweful movie "troy" did it the other way, and not only excluded the gods and other mythical elements but changed the order of events.

I will write this down and rent it when it's out on dvd.

In the spirit of the first post, I will not read any reviews - I've come to the opinion that watching trailers and getting into the hype machine is the best way to ruin a movie (or game) for yourself. I really doubt I would've enjoyed Avatar so much if I hadn't lived under a forced movie media blackout for like the last 6 months. Word of mouth is the only thing that's really trustworthy anyway.

See the Director's Cut. It still does away with all the fantasy - trying to present a "realistic" version of the story of Troy... but it is a much better film than the theatrical cut.
